Eddie Gomez is a Mexican-American writer from the East Side of Las Vegas, specifically Tropicana Ave and Nellis Boulevard. He grew up riding around in the flood channels from Russell Road to the Wetlands and Silverbowl. Back in the day when half the lots between Boulder Hwy and Lake Las Vegas were nothing but dirt this author was getting aluminum bats waved at his head in Naked City. He is currently working on a novel about growing up on the East Side of Las Vegas.
